Wiring Simulator is a browser-based wiring simulator with a physics-based electrical engine. Place components, wire terminal to terminal, and simulate. Coils energise, contacts change state, motors run. Short circuits trip the nearest upstream breaker.
Built to IEC 60617 and SANS 10142 conventions.
// PHILOSOPHY
Tools essentially do the same thing. They let us achieve more. This is one of them. A description tells you what a circuit does. A schematic shows you how it’s laid out. Wiring Simulator runs it, and shows what actually happens.
// HISTORY
Wiring Simulator was released as Trade Test Simulator, a study tool for one exam. The name changed to reflect the expanded product: a live electrical engine, a multimeter, real audio, and a physics-respecting simulation layer, built for apprentices and professionals alike.
